Intellectual Property Protection Policy

Last updated May 13, 2025

Jason Faust (d/b/a “Drupid,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to respecting and protecting intellectual-property (“IP”) rights. Every listing, image, description, and design on Drupid.com must comply with applicable copyright, trademark, publicity-rights, and related laws. This policy explains the protections we uphold and how rights-holders can report suspected infringement.

1. Types of Intellectual-Property Protection

Law / Right What It Protects Examples
Copyright The original expression of an idea fixed in a tangible form Photos, artwork, literary text, product mock-ups
Trademark Distinctive words, names, symbols, or designs that identify the source of goods or services Brand names, logos, taglines
Publicity Rights A person’s name, image, likeness, or other unique persona attributes used for commercial gain Celebrity photos, voice, signature catchphrases

2. How to Report an IP Infringement

If you believe material on our Site infringes your rights, email a Notice & Takedown Report to [email protected].
Use the subject line “TAKEDOWN REPORT.”

Your report must include

  1. Identification of the infringing work
    • Direct URL(s) to each listing, image, or file in question.
  2. Proof of ownership
    • Registration certificates, dated files, or authoritative web links demonstrating your rights.
  3. Your contact information
    • Full legal name, company (if any), mailing address, phone number, and email.
  4. A sworn statement (digital signature accepted) that:
    • you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is unauthorized;
    • the information provided is accurate; and
    • you are the owner or authorized agent of the owner.

3. What Happens Next

  1. Verification – Our IP team reviews the notice for completeness and legitimacy.
  2. Action – We may remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content, or contact the uploader for more evidence.
  3. Notification – We email the complainant (and, when appropriate, the uploader) describing the action taken.
  4. Counter-Notice (if applicable) – If the uploader disputes the claim, we follow applicable law (e.g., the DMCA) to evaluate a counter-notice before restoring content.

We strive to resolve valid claims promptly—typically within 2 business days of a complete submission.

4. Good-Faith Use & Repeat-Infringer Policy

Drupid terminates accounts of users determined to be repeat infringers and may bar future access to the Site. Knowingly filing false or malicious claims may subject the filer to liability for damages, court costs, and attorneys’ fees.
